FOR EMPLOYERS
The Next Generation is Already here - Help Them Find Their Start!
The Sonoma County business community thrives when the workforce is strong. Yet many of our students still struggle to see a future for themselves here.
Connecting the two is why CTE Foundation exists, so students can get a real first look at a career - a mentor who believes in them, a project that matters, maybe even their first paycheck.
Maybe you want to grow your future workforce. Maybe you remember the person who gave you your first chance and want to be that person for someone else. For many of our partners, it's both.
Here are three ways to get involved and help shape what's next for Sonoma County students!
Ways to Get Involved
Host an Intern: Path to Purpose
Take on a high school junior or senior for 50 or more hours during the spring semester! Students apply once through a centralized system, and we match them to you based on their interests, availability and career goals. Optional monthly workshops and wrap-around support come included.
Connect with Students
Speak to a class, run a site tour, host a teacher externship, and more! CTE Foundation works as the connector between local schools and industry - we will work with both sides to engage the future workforce.
Become a Workforce Champions
Workforce Champions gives industry partners a meaningful way to invest in and support the next generation of skilled talent, while building brand visibility and community goodwill through a sustained, high-profile partnership with CTE Foundation.
Get Started today.
Tell us what your business does and roughly how many hours you could offer, and we’d be happy to talk it through. We'll take it from there, resources and training included.
