We Need You!
Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of students.
CTE Foundation invites community members to share their passion, expertise and leadership by volunteering on our Board of Directors or one of our Board committees. These committees help guide key aspects of our mission to innovate the education-to-career experience to strengthen student success.
Join A Committee
CTE Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the employers, schools and institutions our students are heading toward. Board members come from healthcare, finance, manufacturing, higher education, hospitality, law, auto retail, construction materials and media, which means the people approving our investments are also the people who know what local jobs actually require.
The board sets our strategy, approves the budget, holds the organization accountable to the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan and to our pledge on diversity, equity and inclusion, and hires and evaluates the Executive Director. Officers serve as Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, with the Immediate Past Chair staying on for continuity.
Most of the detailed work happens in committees. Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Fund Development and Program committees are open to community volunteers as well as board members, so you do not have to join the board to help steer this work.
