NORTH BAY HEALTH PATHWAYS ALLIANCE
About the Alliance
The North Bay Health Pathways Alliance is a convening of K-16 partners and healthcare employers across the North Bay – a core intermediary activity of CTE Foundation, bringing together the people who need to be in the same room to build lasting, equitable health science education-to-career pathways.
Our Role as a Regional Backbone
CTE Foundation serves as the connective tissue between K-12 districts, post-secondary institutions, and healthcare employers across Sonoma County. Through this gathering and other intermediary activities, we convene stakeholders, address regulatory and policy challenges, braid funding streams, and ensure private-sector innovation integrates into public funding roadmaps – so the work is coherent, equitable, and lasting.
High School Pathways Across Our Region
In 2023–24, 15 local high schools had 5 health science pathways serving 700 students. By 2028–29, that grows to 14 pathways - Patient Care, Public & Community Health, Biotechnology, Sports Medicine - with 1,400+ students served. A regional approach is essential to ensure equity across all communities.
